After moving to West Texas, we were excited to enjoy our patio — but quickly found the intense sun and constant wind made it nearly impossible. Like many local homeowners, we were stuck with outdoor space we couldn’t actually use.

That challenge sparked an idea. We started researching shade systems and saw a clear need for better outdoor solutions in this region. One thing led to another — and West Tex Shades was born.

As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I bring the same discipline, precision, and attention to detail to this business that I did in uniform. Our team takes pride in doing things the right way — with respect, integrity, and a commitment to every customer we serve.
